I swear, newscasters and reporters need to lurk moar when it comes to shit they find on the internet.

Since when does any self respecting internet user ever use an abbreviation longer than rofl? I'll tell you when: When they were 11 year old faggots using their mothers subscription to AOL.

Nobody today should be using so much abbreviations or 1337 if the occasion doesn't call for it. Sure, when you're playing a round of Counter Strike and you need to let teammates know that terrorists are at the bomb site, you say "T@BA" or something similar.

Or maybe in a game of UT2k4, after you've just gunned down some nub, and you don't have a voice emote that says what you're feeling, you go "u teh pwnzorz, nub lolol".

It shouldn't be used anywhere outside of gaming, or short messages through your phone (To save texting costs and all that BS.) You have a FULL KEYBOARD sitting right in front of you, use it. SPELL OUT THE WHOLE GOD DAMNED WORD.

Now, when it comes to trolling, like when you're trolling eBaumsworld (lolol), its alright to use abbreviations and crap; Its all about getting fags to fall for it. Like the following, for example:
